Responsibilities:

• Provide legal direction and risk management advice to support the corporate functions and governance related matters, intellectual property, review policies and updates on new laws and regulations.
• Prepare, review, and negotiate business agreements and contracts including but not limited to facility letters, security documents, bank guarantees, consultancy agreements and service agreements.
• Review contracts and vendor agreements such as software licensing, advising and proposing solutions in terms of commercial risks and contractual issues.
• Negotiate with the external parties and counsels on legal matters and risks.
• Assist in fundraising legal activities up to closing of transaction.
• Work closely with and advise business and support functions (including Sales, Marketing, Compliance, HR and Finance) on a broad range of legal matters, including contract law, intellectual property, content regulation, privacy, and competition law, etc.
• Manage all corporate secretariat activities
• Conduct legal research, analyze impact of legal developments on the Company.
• Provide timely and reliable legal advice and guidance on legal and regulatory matters.
• Manage records of all legal documents.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree or equivalent law qualification
• At least 5 years post-qualified experience
• In-house or law firm experience with international corporate legal matters, especially new entity establishment experience in Asia Pacific region.
• Experience in Tech company will be value added advantage.
• Strong analytical ability, meticulous and quick learner.
• Possess high levels of maturity, energy, proactivity, business acumen and an innovation mindset
• High integrity and ethical compass
• Able to work under time pressure sensitive scenarios and to work on multiple matters/projects.
