Responsibilities:

  • Provide day to day IT administration support to end users, which includes set up of laptops, diagnose and solve hardware/software issues reported.
  • Responsible for infrastructure management support including network, email, domain, internet access, tele-communication & server administration.
  • Install and configure printers, IP Phones, projectors, video conferences and other peripherals.
  • LAN/WAN/VPN troubleshooting.
  • Administration of user accounts (creation, termination) and optimize email hosting storage.
  • Liaise and negotiate with vendors for IT equipment quotations, services or solutions and providing recommendations.
  • Maintain inventory of IT equipment and license control/software management.
  • Research and evaluate new technologies to be used as enhancements or upgrades to existing server, network, and other IT infrastructure equipment.
  • Prepare, update, and maintain IT documentation in compliance with IT security policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the security of the Company’s IT database by performing backups and updating security protocol.
  • Provide orientation and training to users on IT system.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties and functions as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in computer science/Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 year(s) of working experience in IT Infrastructure, maintenance and troubleshooting of laptop, network, and IT-related systems.
  • Familiar with Windows Servers Active Directory domain services administration, troubleshooting, health check, fine-tuning, and backup solutions.
  • Experience in Server Administration, planning and scheduling of back-ups, DNS and DHCP.
  • Knowledge of security protocols, IT systems, networking infrastructures and database systems.
  • A person with initiative, efficient and able to multi-task.
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment with good problem-solving skills.
